What is Fund-A-Thon?
The Abortion Access Fund-A-Thon is one of the largest and most exciting national grassroots fundraising campaigns there is, and an opportunity to organize people into the political act of redistributing wealth and ensuring abortion access. Abortion funds across the country participate in the Fund-A-Thon and last year Texas Equal raised over $20,000 in this event alone.
The Fund-a-Thon raises funds to expand abortion access, brings in new people to our movement, destigmatizes abortion through heart-to-heart conversations, educates our community about abortion access barriers, and makes a strong political statement about the world we want to create together.
What is Bowl-a-Thon?
Join us on Sunday, April 30th from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Bowl-a-Thon, where teams of TEA Fund supporters will come together and bowl in the name of Fund-A-Thon! Teams will compete for our unique team trophies while onlookers cheer them on. We’ll also feature a raffle table of unique prizes from our community partners and supporters. It’s a great opportunity to connect with our community, have a great time, and raise funds for TEA Fund.
Bowl-A-Thon ’23 Team Meet-Up-A-Thon
Join us on Thursday, March 9th, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Buzzbrews Lakewood Music for our Team Meet-Up and kick off party! We’ll register and meet new teams, share delicious snacks and enjoy live music.
Where does the money go?
Funds raised for TEA Fund through Fund-a-Thon will provide funding for abortion care and related logistical + practical support.
