My choice, not a crisis

An Anti-AAC Initiative

At TEA Fund, we believe that pregnant people in Texas deserve to have access to health care and necessary resources without lies, stipulations, or judgment.

The My Choice: Not a Crisis campaign will provide concrete resources to those in need, build support through community education and advocacy work, and uplift the experiences of those who have been harmed by anti-abortion centers, while continuously pushing for the long-term goal of dismantling anti-abortion centers.

What are Anti-Abortion Centers?

Anti-abortion centers are commonly known as crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs). The primary goal of these tax-payer-funded fake clinics is to use medically false information, coercive tactics, emotional manipulation, and religious shaming to force people into parenthood before they are ready and/or willing due to their circumstances.

Lifting Up, Not Leaving Out: Infant Care Resource Drive

Our Infant Care Resource Drives support pregnant people and families in Texas by offering them continuous tangible support in the form of infant care items with no strings attached and no questions asked, unlike AACs. By offering these resources, pregnant people will not have to resort to these harmful centers in order to find the help they need. During our resource drives, education regarding AACs is shared to spread awareness, engage supporters, and to build connections and community partnerships.

Our goal is to:

Support pregnant people in Texas by offering them ongoing and tangible support in the form of infant care items with no strings attached and no questions asked, unlike AACs.

  • Offer factual and accurate information to discourage people from seeking AACs for their falsely advertised services.

  • Highlight the dangers of AACs and affirm whatever decision pregnant people in Texas make about their bodies.

  • Empower community organizations to join us in shifting resource access in north Texas.

And build connections and community partnerships.

How You Can Help
