Are you looking to be a better abortion advocate and want to get involved? TEA Fund’s Programming TEAm offers an array of training to community members and partners on the first and third Wednesdays of every month, or by way of appointment.  In these trainings, participants will learn the ins and outs of abortion advocacy, such as important vocabulary, historic events, current legislative efforts such as Rosie’s Law, and much more.

Training sessions are $100 per session, with sliding scale rates for fellow nonprofit and community organizations.

Learn proper vocabulary of current social movements TEA Fund supports or actively participates in, so that you can effectively and ethically navigate the current landscape.

Reproductive Justice in AAPI and South Asian Immigrant Communities

In this training, we will review the history of Reproductive Justice and how it has specifically impacted AAPI and South Asian immigrant communities. We will also share how you can properly and effectively advocate for these populations in your RJ work.

Abortion Storytelling and Stigma

In this training, we discuss the importance of and how to practice abortion storytelling, as well as break down the stigma around having abortions and speaking about abortion experiences.

Crisis Pregnancy Center, aka Anti-Abortion Center Training

This training covers the history, vocabulary, and harmful tactics used by CPCs aka AACs against our community. Learn how to identify these centers, what you can do to work against these organizations, and how you can support the My Choice, Not A Crisis Campaign organized by TEA Fund.

Communities of Color have an extensive history of experiencing harm at the hands of medical professionals, especially when it comes to reproductive care. Learn more about the history of medical violence enacted against Communities of Color and how to be a better advocate moving forward in those spaces.
